I.C - 3009 is a multipurpose boiler feed water conditioner. It works as a
Softening agent Oxygen scavenger . It keeps the sludge in suspension
which is discharged through blow down .
Its physical state is liquid from which is soluble in water in all proportion.
ADVANTAGES
I.C - 3009 controls oxygen level in boiler water and inhibit corrosion . it
serve as softening agent . Removes hardness due to calcium and
magnesium ions . It inhibit scale deposition . It is designed for low and
medium pressure boiler .
DOSAGE
Exact dose depend upon hardness of feed water . IC - 3009 is soluble in
water and used as 5% to 10 % solution.
PRECAUTION
I.C.- 3009 should not be swallowed & avoid contact with Skin & Eyes . In
case of contact with eyes flush with plenty of water & seek medical advice.
